What Is This Charge?
The charge likely represents a payment made to the Southern California Golf Association, which is involved in promoting and supporting golf in the Southern California region. They may provide services such as organizing golf tournaments, maintaining golf courses, and offering memberships to golfers.
Why You May Not Recognize This Charge
The descriptor includes 'SOUTHERN CAL GOLF ASSN', which is an abbreviation for the Southern California Golf Association, potentially leading to confusion. The phone number included, '818-9803630', may not be familiar to the cardholder, and the location code 'CA' might not immediately identify the merchant's specific services.
When Should You Be Concerned?
Consider reaching out to your bank or card issuer if you don't recognize this charge, didn't authorize it, or see it appear multiple times without explanation. We don't determine whether a charge is fraudulent — only your bank or the merchant can do that.
